Want to feel better? Have vitality? Lose weight?
The ancient physicians of India were charged with the task of taking care of the royalty. One of their most important tasks was to ensure a long and youthful life. With the understanding of Ama (Toxicity), they needed to not only prevent its accumulation, but remove it before it caused problems. They developed a science of purification that became a specialty in classical Ayurvedic training, much as Rheumatology or Dermatology is a specialty in allopathic medicine. This field is quite detailed in terms of its method and the substances used to eliminate Ama from the body. In brief, it centers on five different therapies, each aimed at a different part of the body and mind. The name of this field is Panchakarma, meaning “five actions.” These represent the five basic purifications for eliminating Ama.
The 7-Day Ayurvedic Home Cleansing Program is a 4-Stage program:
1. Preparation Phase: Includes internal and external Oleation and an Ama-Reducing Diet.
2. Purification Phase: Includes herbal and nutritional methods and administration.
3. Reorganization Phase / Rebalancing Phase: Includes proper method of purification / purgation and proper diet and spices for imbalances.
4. Rejuvenation Phase: Includes the introduction of spices to re-kindle Agni (digestive fire) and rejuvenating herbs for reintegration.
All clients are coached through the 7-Day Cleanse by Dr. Satyavani Kelli Harrington, Ayurvedic Health Practitioner. You will receive a full step-by-step guide on the process that also includes cleansing food recommendations, herbs and oils for massage.
